Experiences for all.

From educational opportunities to summer night entertainment, we are passionate about diverse experiences that inspire and engage at every age.

LIVE at the Lyric

Welcome to "Live at the Lyric" – a series of performances that take place on the First Friday of every month, right after "First Fridays on the Square" event. Join us for live entertainment at the iconic Lyric Theater, where talented artists from various genres take the stage to captivate the audience.

Educational Outreach

Through our summer programming for young students, we're offering ways to experience the arts outside of the classroom. Our Summer Soundz program is a group Children's Choir that meets throughout the summer break and performs at community events. Our Arts Day Camp at the Core is a weeklong camp exposing kids to visual arts and music and theatre.

A Very Merry Scottsville Christmas

In an effort to provide musical performances to our community through the pandemic, the Arts Council produced a musical performance that adhered to the social distancing guidelines. With no audience present, we produced one of our most prized accomplishments, an entire musical presentation of local talent singing Christmas songs. You can find this performance on our Facebook page.

Student Creative Writing Contest

Every academic year, we host a student creative writing contest that is open to any student in the Allen County School system to participate. The subjects are fiction and non-fiction writing and we reward prizes to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

Scholarship Opportunities

Each year, the Hannah Crow Ryan Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an Allen County Scottsville senior who has made significant contributions to their community through service and participation in the performing arts. This scholarship is also awarded based on a financial need.

Arts on Main Summer Concert Series

Nestled in the US Bank park on East Main Street, we have had some of our most memorable performances through our traditional summer concert series. Through this series, we have brought a variety of musical acts to our town in a beautiful and intimate small town setting. This program has since retired.

NorroFest is an Americana music festival hosted annually in October at Dugas Park by the Arts Council.
